Combine the heavy cream, apple butter, sugar, eggs, flour, vanilla, and spices in a large bowl.
Whisk the mixture vigorously until it is completely smooth and well-combined.
Pour the filling into the prepared deep-dish pie crust.
Bake for 45-55 minutes or until the center is just set and a knife comes out clean.
Cover the edges of the crust with foil if they begin to brown too quickly.
Remove from the oven and cool completely on a wire rack.
