Method
- Preheat air fryer to 425°F.
- Mix buttermilk, hot sauce, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
- Combine flour, cornmeal, garlic powder, and onion powder in a second bowl.
- Dip squash rounds in buttermilk, then dredge in the flour mixture to coat.
- Place in the air fryer basket in a single layer and spray both sides with oil.
- Air fry for 6 minutes.
- Switch to the "Toast" setting for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve immediately with honey mustard.
